The TROVADOR Customs Process
Creating your custom beaver felt hat begins with a consultation, either in-person at our East Austin shop or virtually from the comfort of your home. During this consultation, we'll discuss your style preferences, take measurements, and explore the details that will make your hat truly unique.
Next, our skilled artisans will begin shaping and designing your hat by hand, using traditional techniques and tools. We take pride in our attention to detail and craftsmanship, ensuring that every stitch and trim is perfect.
Once your custom hat is complete, we'll invite you back for a final fitting to ensure a comfortable and stylish fit. We'll make any necessary adjustments and provide you with care instructions to keep your hat looking its best for years to come.
If you can't make it into the shop for a final fitting, we will ship your hat to you and help you with any adjustments you made need once you receive your hat.

Pricing is individual to each hat and depends on the materials used. We offer 100% beaver felt hats and genuine Panama straw hats. In addition to the high-quality hat materials, we also offer a range of styling materials, including:
