Materials

All hats are hand crafted using the highest quality materials. Felt pieces in The Set List are 100% beaver felt.

Shipping & Returns

Sizes not in stock are made and shipped in 2–3 weeks unless noted above. Custom commissions take 6–8 weeks. Every piece is made for you, so we don't accept returns. If something isn't right, we'll make it right with a repair, a rework or store credit. Domestic shipping is a flat $60.

Care Instructions

Trovador hats are shipped in boxes designed to support the brim and maintain its shape. You can store custom felt hats in plastic to keep them free from dust and debris. Straw hats should not be stored in plastic because the lack of air can dry out the straw causing it to become brittle or break.

  • How to Measure For Your Hat

    When purchasing a new hat, it is important to be as accurate as possible with your head measurements to prevent getting a hat that is under or over-sized. You will need to measure your head using a measuring tape or find a friend to help.

    To take your head measurement, place the tape around your head around where the hat will sit. This should roughly be about 1/8" above your ear, across the mid-forehead, and completely circling your head. Hold the tape firmly, but not too tightly. If your measurement falls between sizes, choose the next largest size.

    All of our hats come sized and you can use this size guide to make your order.
